Believe it or not, Mayor Sly's son KJ seems to be showing signs of maturing - At least in his social media messaging.
KJ has been known for hard partying, bar room confrontations and even mouthing off to the cops . . . But a recent message shows the young man developing a bit of perspective . . .
Check it:
Kyle James: "Let me make this clear In case you didn't know. I love music and I rap because i love too. I'm not a gangster rapper. I have made mistakes, but I go out to kick it with my homies, and talk to these girls, not to fight/beef with ppl I don't know. My wristband is in commemoration to my dead best friend and says stop the violence. The amount of hate out here is incredible man, and I'm still not mad, it comes with the territory. Just thought I'd let those of u who were unaware know that."
Sage wisdom regarding public perception, the nature of local celebrity and real life vs. the media world. At the very least, it's a powerful insight from the guy who wrote: "Sotally Tober."
Here @ TKC we celebrate progress from Mayor Sly's son and hope the moment of Summer introspection is shared by all local fans of rap music along with politicos who seem obsessed with their pet projects.
Developing . . .
