In this epoch of modern communication, the internet is becoming a normal advertising medium designed for businesses. Even though a small business is taken into accounttraditional or offline, the possibility intended for getting additional people in online way really should not be ignored. One of the ways through which an offline company can set off making use of the ability of the internet is by engaging with an Search engine marketing advisor.
Why Pay An Website Positioning Expert?
1. Search engine optimization is an effective method of giving exposure to a small business internet site to gain an audience of potentially millions of people. Prior to now, local small businesses like restaurants and coffee shops promoted their services and products by way of sheer word of mouth. Now, the best percent of customers drop by the web sooner than they settle on to buy or rather than they pick out a store from which to buy. Reaching some of these purchasers be able to exceedingly raise the income of a company.
2. Search engine optimization consultants are able carry out the many problematical tasks related to search engine optimization optimization. This is significant since attempting to study all of the operations concerned in Search engine marketing may take a small business owner several weeks and years of training. On the contrary aided by the providers of an Website positioning advisor, a business owner can start implementing internet marketing marketing methods without the need of to in person go through the hard task of learning everything from scratch.
3. Search results marketing gives a chance for businesses to get a increasing following online. Local stores can now exceed the boundaries of their local area and enjoy the privilege of getting tourists and folks from far-away places. The opportunity of striking a three way partnership with other companies in an industry will become likely due to wide exposure acquired from search engine optimization. A dependable Search engine optimisation advisor could make these items happen for a business.
How To Get On track
Before launching a web-based promotion and engaging in search engine marketing, it really is highly recommended for a small business owner to at least learn the fundamentals of Search engine marketing. Therefore, he will need background understanding of how Search engine optimization works, how to define its goals, and what it does for a business.
Without #having a# fundamental knowledge of seo marketing, a company owner cannot fully appreciate the services of an Search engine optimisation consultant. Being familiar about basic SEO can even help a business owner avoid scammers, rip-offs, and fake gurus who try to post as internet marketing consultants, when in actual fact, they are only looking for a quick buck without delivering any real results.
You?re well aware of your smartphone?s power. But have you considered what might happen to your mobile business if all that power fell into the wrong hands?
Online security firm Symantec recently put that question to the test by deliberately ?losing? 50 smartphones in public places. The experiment?s results were, as Symantec puts it, ?not encouraging.?
Half of the people who found one of the smartphones made no attempt to return it ? and those who did try to find a phone?s rightful owner didn?t do so without first taking a long look at the information stored on the device. In fact, all but two of the lost phones were accessed by the people that found them. They weren?t just innocuously looking for the owner?s ID, either: Some 60 percent of phone finders tried to view social media and email accounts, and a whopping 80 percent tried to open files with names such as ?HR salaries? and other business-related information.
Smartphones are the new Wild West of information security, in part because it?s so easy to lose them. Beyond that, there?s a rising tide of mobile malware and other threats out there. Yet many users ? including mobile businesses that rely on their devices to accept payments and conduct other daily tasks ? don?t take enough precautions against loss or theft.
Here are four security tips for protecting your mobile business and its smartphones:
Use password protection. All smartphones come with password protection or another device-lock feature, yet many owners either disable this tool or use it in a way that anyone could still open the phone. For instance, Mashable notes that one out of every 10 iPhone owners uses ?0000? or ?1234? as a password. That?s unacceptable. Instead, use strong passwords or swipe-to-unlock combinations; failing to do so makes it too easy for prying eyes to feast upon the phone if it?s lost or stolen.
Install a security app. As the volume of mobile malware and other threats skyrockets, it will be increasingly important to use some type of security software on your devices. This will help patrol for bad stuff happening in the background that you might not otherwise notice.?The current wisdom suggests Android devices are especially risky, in part because of the platform?s booming growth. Apps like the popular Lookout Mobile Security offer both free and premium versions.
Set up ?remote wipe? capability. If your smartphone holds a lot of valuable business information, consider enabling remote wipe functionality as an insurance policy. This allows you to erase data on your smartphone from a remote location if the device gets lost or stolen. Lifehacker has an easy-to-follow guide that explains how to set up remote wipe on iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone 7 devices.
Don?t download dubious apps. Users that install apps willy-nilly run a higher risk of unwittingly inviting outside threats into their mobile business. Do your homework to minimize the odds of putting malware or other toxic software on your device. Even trusted sources require caution: For instance, Google attempts to keep bad apps out of the Android Market, but it still happens. Do your due diligence ? research who made an app, what permissions it requires, and so forth, before downloading it.

If you are forced to move due to job change you want to take advantage of the declining market to find a bigger house, or the need to find something smaller, a house is sold in a market support can be very stressful. To reduce stress, make some changes to reflect on your home before you put on the market. The achievement of these updates is for a short period of time in the housing market and a quick sale for you.
Stripping Cabinet
they say that kitchens and bathrooms sell houses. A house with an old kitchen with outdated furniture that look as if they were 20-30 years old can sit around for a long time, while a kitchen that can update a home to sell quickly. If not in your budget for furniture (and that makes all this work in a house that will not be in a few months the owner?) Consider replacing the rejuvenation of the cabinet. There are two types of body: Cabinet resurfacing and cabinet makeover. Pickling is cheaper, the reconstruction of Ministers, and is usually a better choice if you are looking for a better view of a strict budget.
Area covered is at the door and drawers, sand existing structures and then to remove a fresh coat of paint or stain to change the appearance. This can be done by the owners on hand, but many people choose to hire a company that offers refinishing the cabinet of experts.
Painted a neutral color
if your house is full of bright colors and bold outdated or wallpaper considers painting before putting your home on the market. Choose a neutral paint and beige interior. Almost anyone can paint with success, just take the time to isolate the frames of wooden doors and baseboards, and be sure to use too much paint on the ground to ensure that the color remains on the walls and no other party. Take your time and realize that it may be necessary to apply several coats to cover very dark shadow. Whatever you do, but no more than the wallpaper of painting. Take time to properly remove and thanks to subsequent owners.
Having the professional carpet cleaning
even dirty carpets can see a marked improvement with a carpet cleaning professional. But do not think you can rent a car at the supermarket or hardware store, the job is done. There is a difference in cleaning power you need to use one of these machines in comparison with the versions of high-powered professionals. Remember to bring the colored areas of carpet cleaning that can give them special attention. If the stain has set, it should be a residue that is large enough to attract the room or the offer of a subsidy from the carpet to find potential buyers.
The Right Price
He also rejected in a market, homes sell quickly, properly price. If you work with a realtor or trying to sell themselves, even a little research before putting your home on the market. Use sites like real estate homes for sale in your area and slightly lower prices, to find them. If the house has a better (and should be reflected when changes were made) and its price is lower, there is no comparison, if potential buyers have a margin of two houses.

TORONTO (AP) ? Struggling BlackBerry maker Research in Motion Ltd. said Thursday that it plans to return its focus to its corporate customers after failing to compete with flashier, consumer-oriented phones such as Apple's iPhone and models that run Google's Android software.
The shift in strategy came with a management shakeup that includes longtime executive Jim Balsillie leaving the board and severing ties with a company he helped build and later see decline.
RIM said it will focus its consumer efforts on targeted offerings that tap the company's strengths. That includes devices that employees will want to buy on their own and bring to the corporate environment. The company was exploring partnerships and other opportunities for consumer products that aren't deemed central. Those products could include software and features that are then incorporated into RIM's own offerings.
"We can't do everything ourselves, but we can do what we're good at," RIM CEO Thorsten Heins said.
RIM has had limited success trying to enter consumer markets in recent years, particularly with high-end devices that sport touch screens popular with consumers.
Heins said a turnaround required "substantial change."
"We believe that BlackBerry cannot succeed if we tried to be everybody's darling and all things to all people," Heins said. "Therefore, we plan to build on our strength."
Heins, who joined RIM four years ago and was most recently its chief operating officer, replaced co-CEOs Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis in January after the company lost tens of billions in market value. Lazaridis founded the company, and Balsillie had joined in its early years.
RIM said Thursday that Balsillie has resigned from its board after 20 years with the company. David Yach, chief technology officer for software, and Jim Rowan, chief operating officer for global operations, also are leaving.
The company said it was undergoing a comprehensive strategic review. Heins said he was open to selling the company, but "it is not the main direction we are pursuing right now."
The Canadian company has long dominated the corporate smartphone market. Its BlackBerrys are known for their security and reliability as email devices. President Barack Obama even refused to part with his BlackBerry after he took office.
RIM has sought to expand its appeal to consumers, but it has had trouble because the phones aren't perceived to be as sexy as its chief competitors. RIM has been counting on improvements with its forthcoming BlackBerry 10 system, but that has faced multiple delays. BlackBerrys also lag iPhones or Android phones when it comes to running third-party applications. Touch-screen models that lack physical keyboards have largely flopped.
For that reason, BlackBerrys are even losing ground in the business world, as employees demand iPhones or Android devices over BlackBerrys.
Apple sold 37 million iPhones in the last three months of 2011 ? more than what RIM shipped in the past three quarters combined. RIM shipped 11.1 million BlackBerrys in the latest quarter, which ended March 3.
RIM also bombed in its efforts to produce a tablet computer to compete with Apple's iPad. Among other things, the PlayBook received negative reviews because it launched without an email program and the popular messaging service BlackBerry Messenger. In December, the tablets that originally cost $500 were selling for $200, below the cost of making them.
BGC Financial analyst Colin Gillis said it's a positive development that RIM is going to focus on its corporate clients and lower-end consumers.
"They are conceding the high-end consumer market with all these services that are wrapped around the platform," Gillis said. "At least there's some reality here. Are they going to compete against iTunes? No way."
Peter Misek, an analyst at Jefferies & Co. in New York, said RIM should have recognized that it is niche player and lost the battle with Apple three years ago. Misek said the company should have looked at partnering with other companies last year rather than now.
When he took the CEO job in January, Heins said a drastic change in strategy was not needed. He said Thursday that he changed his mind after conducting his "own reality check on where the entire company really is."
RIM announced the changes as it announced quarterly results that fell short of Wall Street expectations.
Net loss was $125 million, or 24 cents a share, in the fiscal fourth quarter. This compares with $934 million, or $1.78 per share, a year ago.
After excluding one-time items, adjusted income was 80 cents per share, a penny short of expectations from analysts polled by FactSet.
Revenue fell 25 percent to $4.2 billion from $5.6 billion. Analysts were expecting $4.5 billion.
For the full fiscal year, RIM earned $1.2 billion, or $2.22 a share, on revenue of $18.4 billion. That compares with net income of $3.4 billion, or $6.34 a share, on revenue of $19.9 billion in fiscal 2011.
In extended trading after the results came out, RIM shares fell 33 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $13.40. During the regular session, the stock increased 6 cents to close at $13.73.

Christie Brinkley tried to keep it together. She really did.
But the former model just couldn't remain quiet any longer during an interview this morning with Matt Lauer, not when the topic turned to ex-husband Peter Cook, who cheated on Brinkley in 2008 with a teenager named Diana Bianchi.
"Since the day that he realized that I wasn't coming back, there has been a real character assassination going on," Brinkley said. "I asked for and got a confidentiality agreement with the original divorce. I alone have maintained the confidentiality agreement. I had offers for a sympathetic show from Oprah, Jeff Zucker offered me an hour on primetime. Everybody asked me to come on. I did not want to do it."
With Cook having sat down with Geraldo Rivera and Good Morning America since the couple's split, Brinkley admitted she's become embarrassed over what their divorce has spiraled into.
"I have never taken part in name calling," she said. "I'm not alone. I've gotten hundreds of letters from women that are going through this. It's not easy."
Son Sailor has been residing with Christine for the past seven months and, devolving into years, she told Lauer there's really only one thing she wants at this point:
"[Peter] continues to contact me... I just want peace. And every time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, he has to try to destroy it."
I need a few other RPers for my roleplay, Marked. I require one or two paragraphs per post; I'm not very picky. I do require decent grammar. Not perfect. Decent.
Plot:
Every twenty years or so, a dragon egg of each breed is found that has an odd, black splotch covering a about half of its shell. This black mark is dull and ugly; however, the parents of the egg are both saddened and pleased by this abnormality. Saddened because they know the hatchling will not be theirs to raise, and pleased because they know that this egg, this offspring of theirs, has been honored.
Honored, for it is one of The Marked. One of those few, few dragons that will become bonded with a twolegs. They are delivered quickly to the cave of the Great Dragon, deep in the heart of the Chirang woods. Here they are kept, though, unlike ordinary eggs, they will not hatch until all eight of The Marked eggs have been assembled, and the twolegs which are to be their bondeds have all realized their part in this hatching and come to take part.
Of course, these bondeds might have had different plans for their life. Chances are, none of them ever dreamed of being a dragon's bonded, and few of them are overjoyed when a large, black splotch begins to form and cover half their face. But like it or not, they are one of the Marked, and, if they do not travel to the cave of the Great Dragon, will be found and carried there by force. For if not all the Marked twolegs assemble, the eggs will never hatch.
The twolegs have come, the hatching ritual will take place within the week. For better or for worse, the twolegs will become bonded, and face all the trials the title involves.
Not the least of which is getting used to this new life.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Friday nominated a Korean-American known for his work in fighting disease in impoverished countries to lead the World Bank, a job emerging economies are contesting for the first time.
Jim Yong Kim, 52, is president of Dartmouth College, an Ivy League school in New Hampshire, and former director of the Department of HIV/AIDS at the World Health Organization.
Despite the challenge from emerging nations - Nigerian Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and former Colombian finance minister Jose Antonio Ocampo were also nominated - the United States is expected to maintain its grip on the job, which it has held since the bank was founded after World War Two.
"He's worked from Asia to Africa to the Americas - from capitals to small villages," Obama said. "His personal story exemplifies the great diversity of our country and the fact that anyone can make it as far as he has as long as they're willing to work hard and look out for others."
The choice came as a surprise.
Washington's past picks for the World Bank presidency have had more standing in political circles and Kim's name had not surfaced in several media reports on potential nominees.
Okonjo-Iweala, a respected economist and diplomat, is likely to draw support from many emerging nations that want to see the bank focus more on helping their economies develop and less on traditional poverty-fighting aid. Her backing by Angola, Nigeria and South Africa was a rare example of unity among countries often at loggerheads.
Ocampo's nomination by Brazil also signaled the desire of emerging markets to have a competitive process as they move to try to upend the tradition of always having an American lead the World Bank and a European lead the International Monetary Fund.
The bank's current president, Robert Zoellick, steps down at the end of June.
"You will see more of a debate, an assessment of the merits of the different candidates and the direction of the bank," said Arvind Subramanian, a former IMF official. "It is not a slam dunk. It is not an obvious choice," he said of the U.S. nominee.
Washington, however, retains the largest single voting share at the World Bank and can expect the support of European nations and Japan, the bank's second-largest voting member.
Paul Farmer, a co-founder with Kim of the non-profit Partners in Health, which serves some of the world's poorest countries, said the nominee would bring to the post a real world understanding of poverty and a sense of purpose.
"A lot of people who live in poverty in the world today feel that the World Bank has stalled and needs?new vision," Farmer, the chairman of the Department of Global Health at Harvard University, told Reuters in Kigali, Rwanda. "One of his qualities is that boldness of vision."
U.S. economist Jeffrey Sachs, who had been put forward for the job by a group of small countries, withdrew and threw his support to Kim. He had cast his uphill candidacy as an effort to break Washington's penchant for political appointments.
A Canadian government source said Canada would back Kim and South Korea, his boyhood home, also signaled its support. But India said it wanted to consult the other so-called BRICS countries - Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa - before deciding, and Mexico also said it was keeping an open mind.
The rise of emerging economies such as China, India and Brazil has put pressure on the United States and Europe to throw open the selection process for both the bank and the IMF. Last year, all of the bank's 187 member countries agreed on a transparent, merit-based process.
The World Bank board of member countries has promised to make a decision by the time of the IMF and World Bank semi-annual meetings on April 21.
U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner advocated for Kim's nomination, White House spokesman Jay Carney said, adding that a number of candidates were considered, but not all were interested.
CHALLENGES AHEAD
The new World Bank chief will take over at a time when the euro zone's debt crisis is weighing on the global recovery, undercutting demand in the poorer nations that often rely on funding from the bank.
He or she will have to decide how best to deploy resources in a budget-cutting environment in which large bank shareholders, such as the United States, are demanding results, transparency and greater efforts to tackle corruption.
In the end, the choice may come down to political horse trading. Russia has refrained from publicly backing a non-U.S. candidate and has instead called for a greater role for emerging market countries in other top positions at global financial institutions. World Bank board sources have said a deal could arise in which developing and emerging economies win the top post at the bank's private-sector lender.
Kim, who holds both an M.D. and a Ph.D. from Harvard University, led a World Health Organization initiative that is credited with providing access to HIV treatment to millions of people in developing countries.
Dartmouth faculty gave Kim generally high marks, saying he dealt ably with the school's impaired balance sheet in the wake of the financial crisis. However, in February, 105 faculty called on him to do more to combat hazing after a student detailed abusive practices.
Some students faulted Kim for focusing too heavily on post-graduate programs to the detriment of undergraduate studies and using Dartmouth as a platform for higher aspirations.
"From the first year he got here there was a pretty general consensus that he was using Dartmouth as a stepping stone to get to something bigger," said Kurt Prescott, a 21-year-old senior.

Basic things about How do you know how much equity your home has
Equity (finance) In accounting and finance, equity is the residual claim or interest of the most junior class of investors in assets, after all liabilities are paid. If liability.
Home equity loan A home equity loan is a type of loan in which the borrower uses the equity in their home as collateral. Home equity loans are often used to finance major expenses.

The last two posters have this correct. Do NOT used the assessed value that is not correct. If you really want to know get your home appraised which isnt a bad idea right now just so you know where you stand. It will probably cost you 300400 to get this done. Once you have the appraised value follow what mortgage man posted then you have your equity.
The smartest people I know make their money work hard. Money tied up in your house is lazy money. Your house may appreciate over time but historically in most parts of the country you are lucky if your house goes up by 3 4 per year. That is not enough. Money tied up in your house is not liquid. When you need it most is when it is going to be hardest to get out. I have a friend who is in financial trouble. He has 500000 of equity in his house.
I am all about cash flow. It makes the problem of markets and economies that go up and down over time much more manageable.
For most of us the value of our home represents too much of our net worth to be tied up in a low return illiquid noncash flow producing asset. Finally people cling to the quaint idea of a paid for house as security. No one can force me out.
Its mine. I own it. Its paid for. Its also wrong. The smartest people I know dont pay off their house or even make extra payments on their mortgage unless they have more than enough money to meet all other financial objectives. Action If you are making extra payments on your primary residence find a better use for that money.

WARSAW, Poland (AP) ? One autopsy report describes organs that had been removed years before. Another adds 20 centimeters (nearly 8 inches) to a short man, making no mention of bones disfigured by childhood polio. One family doubts whether an autopsy was performed at all.
Polish investigators have exhumed the remains of three of the 96 Poles killed in the 2010 plane crash in Russia that killed President Lech Kaczynski due to what they say are flaws in the initial autopsies performed by Russian officials.
Two of the 96 victims were exhumed this week in Poland, following a first such exhumation last August. More could follow, prosecutors say.
"There were discrepancies. Evidence gathered in Poland differed from information in the Russian documentation," said Col. Zbigniew Rzepa, spokesman for the chief military prosecutor's office. "We had to carry out the exhumations to clarify all the doubts."
Surviving relatives of the three have been enraged by the faulty autopsy reports, which have added to their private grief. News of the flawed reports has also added to suspicions held by some Poles that the Russians were, at best, sloppy in their handling of the crash aftermath, and, at worst, trying to cover something up.
At one extreme, the flawed autopsies have encouraged Polish conspiracy theories claiming Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders ordered the downing of Kaczynski's plane, which crashed in fog on April 10, 2010. According to one fanciful theory, Russians produced fake fog to blind the pilots. Another claims there were survivors of the crash who were later shot.
No ranking Polish officials voice such views, which are seen as fringe by many Poles ? though they have been encouraged by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, a conservative party leader who is the late president's surviving twin.
A Polish government investigation determined that the crash was primarily caused by inadequate pilot training and errors but that poor guidance from Russian air traffic controllers also contributed.
The new autopsies form part of a separate investigation by military prosecutors aimed at determining whether anyone bears blame for any crimes. No charges have been brought yet.
Andrei Kovalyov, the head of the Russian Center for Forensic Expertise, which conducted the autopsies, defended his group's work, and said if there are errors it is because the bodies were very badly disfigured in the plane crash.
"We have performed the genetic research and inspections of the bodies to international standard," Kovalyov told The Associated Press. "Any discrepancies, if they exist, are likely rooted not in badly performed autopsies but the fact that the bodies were fragmented. When remains of the numerous victims get mixed up inside the cabin there can be problems regarding the attribution of body parts."
Many Poles easily accept the Russian explanation and see no need for the exhumations, feeling that it doesn't change the larger picture of the tragedy.
Even Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said it's hard to expect perfect reports given "what state the bodies were in after the crash."
But, he added: "You have to respect the needs of the families, who want to have 100 percent certainty that the Russian documentation is consistent with their knowledge and the findings of Polish prosecutors."
The first victim to be exhumed, the late conservative lawmaker Zbigniew Wassermann, had a report filled with mistakes. News reports said it described organs that that been surgically removed years before and incorrectly described bone fractures he had suffered.
Neither prosecutors nor his family would give precise details, but his daughter Malgorzata Wassermann confirmed that general picture.
"The document from the Russian autopsy was taken out of the blue," she told AP. "It disagreed with the facts: It described things that did not exist and did not describe things that were there."
His new autopsy, carried out in August, corrected the record but did not change the larger conclusions about the cause of his death, said Col. Ireneusz Szelag, a spokesman for the prosecutors.
Another lawmaker, Przemyslaw Gosiewski, was exhumed on Monday. The Russian autopsy report described him as 1.8 meters tall (5 foot 9), when in fact he was 20 centimeters (nearly 8 inches) shorter, according to the law firm representing the family.
The report also failed to mention bone defects resulting from childhood polio.
"Glaring irregularities in the documentation mean there can't be certainty if an autopsy was even carried out," said Rafal Rogalski, the Gosiewski family lawyer.
In the case of the third exhumation, family members of Janusz Kurtyka, the head of a state historical institute, doubt that an autopsy was performed because they saw no marks on his body indicating a post-mortem, Szelag said.
Neither officials nor the family would reveal further details about Kurtyka's case.
Lech Kaczynski was a deeply patriotic leader who was skeptical of Russia, a historic foe that invaded Poland's eastern half during World War II and controlled the country during the Cold War. Most of the people traveling with him were political allies who shared his views, so it's no surprise their families would voice distrust in Russia after the crash.
The presidential delegation was traveling to honor 22,000 Polish officers murdered by Josef Stalin's secret police at the start of World War II in the Katyn forest and other locations. That symbolism only added to the national grief and to the suspicions.

Associated Press writer Vladimir Isachenkov in Moscow contributed to this report.
PHOENIX (AP) ? Rick Pitino once told Billy Donovan that he should stick to finance and not go into coaching.
Donovan has done all right for himself in the coaching world and now gets a chance to see how he measures up to his former boss.
Fabulous freshman Bradley Beal scored 21 points and Florida knocked off Marquette 68-58 Thursday night, setting up a desert showdown with Pitino and Louisville for a spot in the Final Four.
Pitino's Cardinals shut down top-seeded Michigan State 57-44 in the other West Regional semifinal to set up Saturday's mentor-protege final.
"Both teams have earned the right to play," said Donovan, 0-6 against Pitino with two of the losses in Louisville-Florida matchups. "And the competition part of it will never, ever get in the way with me for our relationship, ever."
Louisville (29-9) got the night started by overpowering Michigan State, using its amoeba-like zone and Senegalese shot-blocking sensation Gorgui Dieng to hold the NCAA tournament's best-shooting team to 28 percent from the floor.
The Cardinals gave the Spartans (29-8) fits all night.
Instead of trapping like it normally does, Louisville played a bait-and-switch game with Michigan State and Draymond Green, the Spartans' multitalented forward. The idea was to jump out on screens and make the Spartans work on every possession and, hopefully, wear them out.
It worked, in large part because Dieng was in the back to clean things up.
Tent-pole thin when he arrived in Louisville, the Senegalese center worked hard on his body and his game, developing into the one player the Cardinals had to have on the floor during his sophomore season. When he got in foul trouble, Louisville labored, so one of the key parts of Pitino's game plan was to make sure the Cardinals protected him.
They did and he protected the rim in return, getting five of his blocked shots in the second half to prevent Michigan State from mounting any kind of rally. Dieng finished with five points, nine rebounds and three steals while matching the school record for blocked shots in an NCAA tournament game.
"He was very disruptive," said Green, who had 13 points and 16 rebounds in his final game with Michigan State. "We're not going to back down from anyone. We took it at him. He pulled off some great blocked shots. That's what he does. That's his strength."
Michigan State started slow and never got going against Louisville's zone.
The Spartans got the shots they wanted and usually make, but couldn't get many to fall against Dieng or anyone else while being outscored 20-14 inside by the leaner Cardinals.
Brandon Wood added 14 points for the Spartans, who were outscored 17-4 off the bench.
"They disrupted us a little bit and we didn't have enough guys who could play well," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said.
Florida (26-10) made it a coaching-tree final in the West behind the NBA-player-in-the-making Beal.
A player Donovan has been pushing to be more assertive, Beal hit 8 of 10 shots and scored on some dazzling drives to the basket. He also had six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocked shots to send the Gators to the regional final for the second straight year.
"Whenever you're missing shots from the outside, you should keep attacking the basket," Beal said.
Marquette (27-8) struggled in the first half with Big East player of the year Jae Crowder in foul trouble and never really recovered.
Crowder finished with 15 points on 5-for-15 shooting while another Marquette senior, Darius Johnson-Odom, also went 5 for 15 in a struggle to reach 14 points. Buzz Williams' team shot 31 percent and was held 18 points under its season average.
"You have to make shots, particularly on this stage in a tournament setting," Williams said. "If you don't make shots, the easy thing is to say we didn't make shots we typically make. That's not what happened. They were really good, they were outstanding and credit goes to them and their game plan with what we were trying to do offensively.

All the talk these days is of the new iPad and its magical screen. Apple isn't the only one who can do that, you know. In fact, most display makers are looking forward to post-HD resolutions as one of the big selling points of the next generation of displays. Other tablets are already approaching iPad levels of pixel density and it would be foolish of the likes of Google and Microsoft not to be planning for it. Fortunately, Microsoft is well aware of the trend and has plans in place for dealing with displays with pixel-dense displays (or "Retina" to the vulgar).

I have been a blogger for about three years now, specializing in home improvement and green technologies. It?s been a way for me to make my own schedule while writing and learning about things that I think are extremely interesting. I have been writing for my entire life, and this has been a great way for me to actually make a living off of my writing instead of dreaming about it.
I have a lot of motivations for being a good writer. First, I have a very self-critical eye. Whenever I write something, I have a tendency to read over it a few times before I actually submit it, analyzing the heck out of it the entire time. Most of that motivation is based on what I expect from myself as a writer. However, a lot of it is also the fact that my name is going to be attached to that blog piece. I don?t want anything attached to my name that isn?t my best work.
Another motivation I have is my personal desire to learn and grow as I go. Sure, I want to show my best work for marketing and self-esteem purposes? I like the ?feeling? of being a good writer. However, I also genuinely want to learn about the things I?m writing about as I go. This is why I spend so much time writing for home improvement and green technology blogs. It?s great to make a living learning about cool projects and interesting technologies, all while I?m flexing my writing muscles and getting a byline for it.
For anyone looking to get started in blogging for money, there are a few things that I think are very helpful to understand. These fall mostly in the arena of style, but there are some major grammatical points that I think are really important, too. While these are just tips? and many people have gone quite far in blogging with their own path? these tips have worked out great for me.
First, I think bloggers can benefit a lot from finding their own voice. People that hire bloggers read Internet copy for a living, and it can all seem to run together over time. The goal is to make your writing stand out from the rest of the pack by having a unique voice and tone with everything you write. It?s sort of like your signature. I think it?s important that bloggers do this because we?re sort of trained to write a ?specific? way when we?re in school, and that type of writing isn?t really well suited to blogging. Blogging is much more conversational than matter-of-fact, and as such it requires you to break from that mold that we?ve all been pushed into since grade school. The way I help this along is by reading everything I write out loud, asking myself ?does it sound like something I would actually say while talking about this subject with another person?? If not, then I ditch it.
Second, the majority of people that hire bloggers are looking for people that have a grasp of AP style. I recommend brushing up, but there are a lot of bloggers that do very well without having any knowledge of AP. Also, learning basic HTML and the back-end of popular blogging platforms will really make you more marketable. I recommend starting up a personal blog and writing for it once a day. This way, you?ll get to practice your voice while also learning how to easily navigate the user interface of a blogging platform.
Throughout my blogging career, I?ve hit a number of snags. I think it?s important for anyone that wants to get involved with blogging to understand that this isn?t exactly a 9-5 job. You can?t just show up at a temp agency and get a ?job? as a blogger. Bloggers need to be constantly combing employment sites for leads on possible blogging jobs, meaning you?re constantly in job search mode. This can be a little stressful for some people, since it can be tough not knowing how much money you?re going to pull in each week. Even now, the amount I bring in every week can vary a couple hundred dollars, but always evens out by the end of the month.
In the end, the best advice I can give a budding blogger is to stay flexible. Flexibility helps you to roll with the punches, take what comes, and spring back after each storm. Without flexibility, working as a blogger can be a stressful existence.
Field-wide effort builds consensus for path forward
Geneva | Brussels| Johannesburg (March 20, 2012) Against a backdrop of growing concern about the impact of tuberculosis on children, top scientific experts today published a global plan of action for developing the vaccines that are seen as critical to eliminating the disease. Published today in a special issue of the journal, Tuberculosis, the strategic blueprint for the TB vaccine field represents consensus reached by the TB vaccine community.
The TB Vaccine Blueprint provides an enormous opportunity to coordinate efforts to halt the spread of this devastating disease, said Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi, the Minister of Health of South Africa, a country that has played a vital role in ongoing clinical trials for TB vaccines. Governments have an important role to play, and guided by this common strategy we will do our part to make a vaccine a reality.
The Blueprint editors conclude that effective solutions will remain out of reach unless the world scales up efforts to solve the scientific puzzles now hindering development of vaccines against the airborne pathogen. According to the World Health Organization, more than 10 million children have been orphaned by the disease. In addition to great human suffering, the disease causes significant financial and economic damage, and more is expected. Worldwide, there are well over half a million cases of multi-drug resistant TB, representing a trend that adds urgency to the Blueprints call to action.
To develop a new TB vaccine that will be fully effective, researchers, donors and other partners will need to collaborate and coordinate their efforts as they address tough research questions, said Dr. LucicaDitiu, Executive Secretary of the Stop TB Partnership. We cannot allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by either the costs or the obstacles. It is time to be bold and dare to do more in TB, especially in supporting the development of a new vaccine."
To address the many challenges posed by TB, ideal vaccine regimens must protect babies at birth from childhood TB, and prevent infection with the organism in older children and adults. The only currently existing vaccine is limited in its ability to impact the global TB epidemic. Known as BacilleCalmette-Gurin (BCG), it protects children from severe forms of TB in the first years of life, but it doesnt prevent pulmonary TB, which affects the largest group of people infected with the diseaseadolescents and adults.A vaccine also is needed to protect people with latent TB who have not yet developed signs of disease.
Creating more effective, safe vaccines against TB is a task that no one country or organisation can do alone. The blueprint, titled Tuberculosis Vaccines: A Strategic Blueprint for the Next Decade emphasizes that effective vaccines will remain out of reach unless the world scales up efforts to solve the scientific puzzles now hindering development of vaccines. Authors call for researchers, scientists, clinicians, advocates in endemic communities, vaccine manufacturers, and governments around the world to work together on creative new approaches from initial research in the laboratory to clinical trials in the field to global introduction.
The new Blueprint represents the best thinking of the field, said Dr. Jelle Thole, director of the TuBerculosis Vaccine Initiative (TBVI) and co-editor of the Blueprint with Dr. Michael J. Brennan, senior advisor for scientific and global affairs at Aeras. It makes clear that the next 10 years will be vital in moving forward the global search for a dramatically improved vaccine against tuberculosis.
TB vaccine research over the past decade has made advances that would have been unimaginable a decade ago. Between 2000 and 2010, scientists in the public and private sectors were able to move an unprecedented 15 vaccine candidates into clinical trials in a quest to see which scientific approaches held the most promise. Still there is much work to be done and now, more than ever, there is a need for intensified global collaboration, leadership, partnership and commitment.
We began 10 years ago with an empty clinical pipeline, and we have made astounding progress, said Aeras Brennan. But we have to persevere. Given the trends we are seeing globally, failure to develop effective new vaccines for this disease puts everyone at risk.
